Intramural Soccer News – Starting this fall, JYA will be adjusting the league format of our Intramural Soccer Program.

There will be no changes to the Travel Soccer Program.

K5 League – The league will transform into a U-6 league.

The format of the league will remain the same such as the focus on small teams. Teams will remain co-ed.

1st and 2nd Grade League: The league will transform into a U-8 league.

The format of the league will remain the same such as a focus on small teams. Teams will remain co-ed.

3rd and 4th Grade League: The league will transform into a U-10 league. Also, we will be joining a newly created league that consists of Ardsley, Roslyn and possibly an additional league. This distance of this league will be in the 10-15 minute range – very similar to our current intramural baseball/softball leagues. The new league will be 8v8 and include separate boys and girls divisions.

5th – 6th – 7th Grade League: The league will transform into a league named the Senior League

which will continue to focus on small teams and remain co-ed.

JYA is a non-profit organization, established in 1961 and is 100% volunteer based. Historically, JYA had offered such activities as gymanstics, golf, summer basketbal leagues, wrestling and chess. Currently, JYA offers soccer (intramural and travel) and baseball in the fall. In the spring we offer baseball, softball and tee ball. Then during the summer months, JYA offers camps for tennis and soccer.
