Attention JYA Community! 

We're thrilled to announce that Jenkintown Youth Activities (JYA) has assumed management of Jenkintown Youth Basketball (JYB), and we're gearing up for an incredible season ahead!

We will be making a few changes to the structure of the program. We intend to run full-court, 5v5 games, provided we have the registration numbers to do so. Like in previous seasons, grades 2 - 4 will be coed and 5 - 6 will be split. 

This program is open to any and all 2nd through 6th graders. We welcome kids at all skill levels, seasoned players and newcomers alike. JYB is a competitive league all about fostering teamwork, skill development, and of course, having fun! 

Please sign up right away as spots are limited. Here are a few significant dates:

1. Friday November 24th :  Registration Closed
2. Monday November 27th :  Instructional Clinic
3. Thursday November 30th :  Draft Night
4. Monday, December 4th :  Practices begin
5. Saturday December 9th :  Games Begin

Registration is $100. Each team will have 1 practice on a weekday evening and games will be held every Saturday morning starting on Saturday December 9th. The details of the schedules are forthcoming. All practices will be held on the Jenkintown Elementary School basketball courts and games at the Jenkintown High School Courts. Each kid will receive a basketball uniform.

Remember, this is our first time running this program so there are some uncertainties. The program structure and schedule are subject to change, but we will be highly communicative about everything.
