2026 JA Softball Spring

Registration for our Spring 2026 Softball program is officially open! We will be fielding teams from 8&U up to 15&U. We will be competing in the Inter-Community Girls Softball League. This league is typically filled with players who do not play travel softball; beginners are always welcome! 

There were age changes to align with the new USA Softball age divisions. As an easy reference, a player's age on 8/31/2025 will determine the division she qualifies to play for in the 2026 season. Players can play up, but only in rare situations are they able to play down. Ultimately, girls with late birthdays (SEP-DEC) will get an extra year at the division they played last year. It may seem weird that 9yo's are able to participate in 8&U, but this is the new breakdown.

2026 JA Little League Baseball Spring

JA Little League Baseball Spring 2026 is OPEN!
 
There is no residency requirement or documents needed to play in house baseball. The Little League residency requirement is only for the district team that participates in the official Little League tournament after the season. Scroll down and select "OTHER" for School Attendance Eligibility during registration.
 
JA Little League Baseball offers intramural programs for children aged 4-13 (as of September 1 2025). The spring season will begin in March with practices, games will begin in April, and conclude June 6th (subject to change). Remember, all children are welcome, regardless of experience or skill level.

JA Little League Baseball offers the following programs: Quickball/T-Ball, Rookies Baseball, Minors Baseball, Intermediate Baseball and Senior (60/90) Inter-Community Baseball.

Please consider volunteering. We are a volunteer run organization and need help in many areas including coaching, working the snack stand, and getting fields lined, raked, and ready for games. We will especially need help with filling the snack stand with volunteers. Teams will be given a day during the season where they'll be required to fill it with volunteers.

2026 Spring Soccer

JYA Fall 2025 teams will be participating in ICSL Spring Soccer league based on interest for ages U10-U14 (2016-2013).
U9/U10 Intramural teams will participate in SEPA league against other local intramural clubs.

The season has 6 games and practices will be once a week.

U10+Jaguars (Fall '25 teams)
$55 or 65 (U13), Uniforms from Fall will be reused.
$10 Early Bird until Feb 1
$15 Late Fee after March 1

2026 Fall Travel Soccer Tryouts 4th-8th Grade

Jenkintown Youth Activities (JYA) Travel Soccer tryouts have just been announced for the 2025-2026 teams! JYA soccer provides its players with high quality instruction from experienced coaches while competing in the challenging Inter County Youth Soccer League (ICSL) . Our main objective is to help young athletes improve their skills and enjoy competitive soccer.
We have had winners at the league level in the past two years on both the boys and girls sides.
Practices will start in August at Abington Friends School, our home field.
 
Playing for JYA means:
  • You'll have a place to play for your home team . Stay together while you grow as an individual and team player.
  • Opportunities to play soccer year-round including indoor leagues, off-season tournaments like Summer Beach Blast in Wildwood, and Spring Leagues.
  • Play for an organization that is committed to having fun, building friendships, making lifelong memories, and improving skills.
With the age group changes, please reach out with any questions. Players will be allowed to tryout for their present Jaguar teams. New players must try out for their grade team.
