The biggest change to this upcoming season will be that all games will be Monday nights from January 8th-March 25th with a start time of 5-7pm. First week will be a practice.

Like last season the ref duties will be provided by coaches.

Other details to know:

• JYA sees our Indoor Winter Soccer season as an extension of our Fall Soccer program (similar to how Fall Ball is an extension of Spring Baseball).  In general we assume that most of our players would be coming over from the Fall program with the basic skills and concepts of the game.  
•  JYA does not see our Indoor Winter Soccer season as a continuation from your current Fall Soccer Team. That is, we don’t roll your existing team over to a new season so expect new coaches, new players, and new families to meet.
•  Player and Coach requests:
  • This is another change from previous years. We need to limit the amount of player requests as it has become difficult to manage.  
  •  If you need to be paired with another family for logistical purposes JYA will work to honor those requests. These are due by the conclusion of registration, which is December 4th
•  Refunds:
  •  Once a player is registered JYA will not be able to provide refunds.  This is largely due to expenses (fields, jerseys, insurances, etc…) being paid in advance of the season.  

U6 League:

• JYA only co-ed league

• Eligibility: 1/1/2018 - 12/31/2019
•  Ball size: #3
• Games: 6v6 including goalie, 20 minute halves, short halftime break
• Game and Practice Location: SoFive Elkins Park 
• Game and Practice Start/End: 5:00-6:00 or 6:00-7:00
• Practice January 8
• Games beginning January 15

U8 League:

• JYA only co-ed league

•  Eligibility: 1/1/2016 - 12/31/2017
