Registration for JYB Winter 2024 Basketball is officially open!
Some housekeeping you should know before you register:
Eligible registration ages have been expanded to include 1st and 2nd grade as well as 7th and 8th grade division for both girls and boys. The 1st and 2nd grade division will be programmed as a one day a week engagement for 6 weeks. For all divisions at 3rd grade or above, know that your child's team will practice one or two TBD weeknights some time between 5pm and 9pm (earlier for littles, later for bigs), and games will be held throughout the day on Saturdays, throughout the season. The configuration of the 7th and 8th grade divisions will depend on meeting expected registration numbers. Should these numbers not be met, we will either reconfigure divisions to ensure everyone can play, or refund your registration fee and help those who still wish to play get into a neighboring program.
Below is a tentative list of important dates. If dates change, and they may, we will notify you immediately.
November 12 (Tuesday) Registration closed
November 13 (Wednesday) Skills Assessment
November 21 (Thursday) Draft
November 25 (Monday) Practices Start
December 7 (Saturday) Season open
February 8 (Saturday) End of Regular Season
