2025 Beach Blast and More Beach Blast

JYA is proud to offer for the opportunity to play soccer on the beach!

Your registration will pay for the tournament fee, ride wristband, as well as a special fun JYA jersey.

BEACH BLAST...

... is a Beach Soccer Tournament hosted by the Cape Express Soccer Club with divisions for boys and girls U8 to U19; mens, womens and co-ed open. The event takes place every June on the weekend before "4th of July weekend" on the clean and expansive beaches of Wildwood, NJ with soccer, beach and Wildwood’s famous Boardwalk, Amusements and Waterparks. Due to the overwhelming popularity of the June event,

IN ADDITION TO THE SOCCER

Each player receives a wristband for entry to Morey’s Piers Amusement Rides and Waterparks all day Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Discounted entry to the Amusement Rides and Waterparks is also available for the families of accepted teams, Friends and Families can get 4-days of riding for the price of 1 day. All accepted teams will receive a link to Morey's Pier's online tournament store to purchase these wristbands directly from Morey's Piers online.

THE TOURNAMENT

Games are 5 v 5 - 4 plus keeper - maximum 10 players per team. Each game consists of 3 -12 minute periods. Games start on the hour. Substitutions will occur on the fly. Fields are 30 yards by 40 yards. Nylon webbing staked at the 4 corners and flags will delineate the fields. Each team will play 3 games (weather and other unforeseen conditions permitting) with a 4th possible for those advancing to the finals.

NO SHOES ALLOWED

Players must play in their bare feet - socks, tape and ankle braces are allowed but there can be no hard reinforcements in the ankle brace. Sports knee braces with metal support are fine.

AMUSEMENT RIDES AND WATERPARKS

Morey’s Piers on Wildwood’s famous Boardwalk offers 3 action-packed amusement piers, with 6 world-class roller coasters and 2 different Waterparks. Exclusive rates are available only to the families of tournament players.

Beach Blast and More Beach Blast 2025

Registration is OPEN for 2025!

Open to ALL players from any team, not just JYA.
In the past Boys have played in July and Girls have played in June but this can change based on interest and availability.

JYA is again offering the opportunity to participate in summer beach soccer tournaments in Wildwood NJ. Teams will be formed when coaches and teams are available. Register as soon as possible so we know how many teams we have and to get lodging.

There are two weekends of tournaments and you'll be registering for one of them either June 28-29 or July 19-20.

We can add more teams if there is interest and coaches available.

A minimum of 7 players is needed for a team. We are running this at $0 profit. We will price registration to break even based on the number of players. Last year the prices were between 125-160.

Registration covers your tournament fee, beachy jersey, and a wristband for 4 days of rides and waterparks around the tournament. Additional discount park wristbands will also be available to purchase through your coach after the team registers.
